Hi all,

I have an original Savage 25 that i have not ran for well over a year. i was going to try to resurrect it as my son is interested in learning about nitro cars. everything worked well last time i drove it. So if you could help me with the following:

1) I am pretty sure i will need a new motor, so any recommendations would be appreciated. im not trying to break the bank or have a hopped up race truck. i just want decent performance and reliable.

2) What other things do you think i will need to replace/ rebuild?

3) I know I need a clutch as well so recommendations on one?

As far as a good motor, I have always liked the Dynamite motors. Not the fastest most powerful out there, but they run well.
If you have a 3 shoe clutch, just get some Maxlife shoes. Be sure to sand the inside of the bell until it's clean before you assemble it.

X2 on the Dynamite motors, i had one in a older sav25 w/ a 2spd tranny and I was getting 2nd gear wheelies
